1st Open Call for research projects OPEN!

With its Open Call CORBEL offers scientists access to more than 80 technologies and services, provided by more than 15 institutes from eight participating research infrastructures across biological and medical sciences.
Selected advanced research projects can benefit from integrated service pipelines of four different Access Tracks, offering a wide portfolio of interdisciplinary services and technologies. Thereby, you are getting a tailor-made solution supporting your project with exactly the technologies and services that propel your research forward! And the big plus is that in most instances, there will be no access fee – the only cost is consumables. CORBEL offers even limited funding for travel and accommodation costs.

Submit your proposal now and use this unique opportunity to boost your research!

Submission deadline for the Open Call is November 30, 2016.

Coordinated Research Infrastructures Building Enduring Life-science Services

CORBEL is an initiative of eleven new biological and medical research infrastructures (BMS RIs), which together will create a platform for harmonised user access to biological and medical technologies, biological samples and data services required by cutting-edge biomedical research. CORBEL will boost the efficiency, productivity and impact of European biomedical research.

Individually, the services offered by the BMS RIs are critical to their own user communities.

Collectively, through CORBEL, they will be transformative across the range of life-science disciplines: from generation of knowledge at the bench to patient treatment at the bedside.

This project receives funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 654248.
